Fixed the table Go to Definition crash: the catalog query read sys.identity_columns seed/increment values, which SQL Server types as sql_variant — a type the database driver cannot decode, so it panicked ("not yet implemented for SSVariant") and killed the definition fetch. Those values are now cast to a concrete type. Also fixed the native context menu still stacking over the custom menu on macOS: while a custom menu is open, right-clicks are now claimed at document level (the right-button press and the contextmenu event), so the platform menu can never appear on top of it.

Fixed a native context menu stacking over the custom menu when right-clicking the open menu itself (the menu now dismisses on its own right-click), and SQL Server table Go to Definition now builds a full SSMS-style CREATE TABLE script — properly sized types, identity, defaults, primary key, unique and check constraints, plus GO-separated CREATE INDEX statements and foreign-key constraints — instead of a lossy column list.

Fixed the first query after a long break hanging on SQL Server connections: an idle connection could be silently dead (laptop sleep, NAT/firewall timeout, server-side reap) while still looking open, so the query waited on a response that would never arrive. A connection idle more than 30 seconds is now probed with a quick SELECT 1 before your query is sent, and a dead one is transparently reconnected — restoring the database you had switched to with USE. TCP keepalive is enabled on the connection as well.

New file explorer in the sidebar (DataGrip-style): pick a folder once and browse its tree — folders expand/collapse in place and load lazily, clicking a file opens it in a tab (the already-open tab just activates), the active file stays highlighted, and the root folder plus expansion state are remembered between launches. The section collapses to its header; right-click offers Open, Copy path, and on the root folder Collapse all / Refresh / Open another folder.

Excel export: an Export Excel button replaces Export CSV (CSV stays under Export — the workbook has Results and Query sheets, the Query sheet holding the executed statement). UPDATE statements get the same purple column coloring as SELECTs. Sorting a column no longer resets the grid’s horizontal scroll. Alt/Option+drag now does vertical (block) selection in the editor (add-cursor moved to Cmd/Ctrl+click).

Fixed the top toolbar buttons getting stuck in icon-only mode: they now expand back to full labels whenever there is room, and collapse to icons only when space is tight — same behavior as the results toolbar.
